Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yardbird Knox (ranked 259 p4p, 322 weight class) and Pittsburgh Steelers (ranked 43 p4p, 52 weight class). Knox kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Now's The Time | Charlie Parker. On his way into the cage it seems that Yardbird Knox has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Yardbird Knox seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Yardbird Knox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Pittsburgh Steelers!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steelers slips under a jab.
Knox throws a hook to the side of Steelers's head but Steelers sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Knox throws an overhand right that lands on Steelers's shoulder, as Steelers tries to avoid the shot.
Knox punishes Steelers's body with a nice straight punch.
Knox fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Steelers manages to avoid it.
Steelers thinks about the counter body kick.
Knox waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Steelers.
Nice shot by Knox.
It looks like Pittsburgh Steelers has been cut.
Steelers has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Steelers there as he acknowledges the shot.
Steelers looks to score with a jab to the body but Knox is just out of range.
Steelers tries a head kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Steelers throws a head kick but Knox moves out of range.
Steelers cracks Knox with a good jab.
Knox drops Steelers with a beautiful combination! Steelers stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Knox is looking for the KO!
Steelers is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Knox is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Steelers flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Steelers is out cold! Knox holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Yardbird Knox!
Yardbird Knox very nearly forgot to thank Voodoo Nutrition amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
Pittsburgh Steelers spoke after the fight, saying 'I can not believe he beat me. Fuck!'.
