The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Francis DeMontford and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mullins shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Mullins looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Mullins is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Johnson actively working from the bottom here.
Mullins trying to control from half guard but Johnson is working away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mullins thows a huge punch but Johnson dodges it nicely.
Johnson is looking to escape.

Mullins is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Johnson wants to get back to full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Johnson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Mullins decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Mullins closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Johnson's guard.
Johnson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mullins's guard.
Johnson tries to free his leg and advance position but Mullins is retaining full guard.
Mullins manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Johnson manages to get himself to full guard.

Mullins stands up over Johnson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Mullins wants to pass the guard but Johnson is keeping the position.

Johnson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Mullins holds on to Johnson as tight as he can, avoiding damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mullins shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Johnson's guard.

Mullins content to control rather than advance.
Johnson is trying to maintain the position but Mullins is very close to passing his half guard.

Mullins loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Johnson scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Mullins land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Mullins stands and salutes the crowd.
