Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Just Whymer (ranked 2 p4p, 55 weight class) and Jack Number (ranked 1 p4p, 12 weight class). Number has chosen This is A Film - Iggy Pop (Goran Bregovič) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Just Whymer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Number on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Number tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Whymer counters with a nice low kick that buckles Number's knee momentarily.
Number gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Number throws a punch but it's blocked by Whymer.
Number swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Number keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Whymer's efforts to push away.

Number looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Whymer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Number moves out of range of the body kick from Whymer.
Number wants to stay close but Whymer steps back to make room for something. Number seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Whymer and Number drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Just Whymer!
