The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ship tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Virus counters with a right hand to the body.
Ship fails to land the takedown.
Ship swings away with a body shot that misses
and Virus counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Roman Ship has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ship looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ship throws a jab but it's blocked by Virus.
Ship closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Virus did well to prevent Ship getting side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ship is working for a kimura but Virus is defending it quite comfortably.
Ship prevents Virus from improving his position.

Ship in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Virus tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Ship!
