The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baikonurov sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
A low kick lands for Sheikhan.
That kick from Baikonurov tenderised Sheikhan's leg. Sheikhan is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sheikhan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Sheikhan lands with a good body shot.
Sheikhan lands with a slapping head kick.

Sheikhan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Baikonurov moves away.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sheikhan darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Baikonurov scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Baikonurov throws a front kick aimed at Sheikhan's knee but Sheikhan avoids it well.
Baikonurov throws a low kick but it's checked well by Sheikhan.
Sheikhan misses with the body kick
and Baikonurov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Sheikhan throws the kick towards the body but Baikonurov avoids it.

Sheikhan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Baikonurov manages to avoid it.
Baikonurov's corner calls for a 1-2. Baikonurov obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Baikonurov tries to close the distance and clinch but Sheikhan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Baikonurov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Sheikhan misses with a body punch
and Baikonurov counters with a nice uppercut.
Sheikhan lands a nice looking kick to the body. Baikonurov takes a step back to recover.
A jab from Baikonurov does it's job there.

Sloppy strikes from Baikonurov. Those never looked like landing.
Oh Sheikhan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Baikonurov drops Sheikhan with a straight right hand, right on the button! Baikonurov follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
