Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Johnson (ranked 4858 p4p, 3997 weight class) and Fruchtzwerg Oarsch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fruchtzwerg Oarsch looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Johnson !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fruchtzwerg Oarsch!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Johnson misses

and Oarsch counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Oarsch pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Johnson is looking to clinch.

Oarsch closes the distance and clinches.
Oarsch stops a takedown attempt from Johnson .

Oarsch breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Johnson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Oarsch sprawls well initially but Johnson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Oarsch is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Johnson scores with a couple of nice shots.
Johnson prevents Oarsch from improving his position.
Johnson performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Oarsch is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Johnson tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Johnson seems to be looking for submissions.
Johnson stops Oarsch from getting back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Johnson is pressing down on Oarsch's thigh, looking to free his foot. Oarsch is holding on for now.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Oarsch slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Oarsch striking off his back but it's not causing Johnson any problems.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oarsch controls Johnson momentarily but Johnson frees himself.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Oarsch connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Oarsch looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Johnson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Johnson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Oarsch was covering up waiting for the punch and Johnson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Johnson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oarsch swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Oarsch working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Johnson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Johnson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Oarsch tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Oarsch clinches up with Johnson and pushes him back against the cage.

A close round but Fruchtzwerg Oarsch will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Oarsch lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

and Johnson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Johnson throws a right hand that Oarsch ducks under and follows up with a left that Oarsch also avoids with ease.
Oarsch lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Johnson takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Johnson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Oarsch has one foot on Johnson 's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Johnson moves in looking to clinch but Oarsch pushes him off.
Oarsch lands a head kick!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Oarsch counters with a three punch combo that has Johnson backing up. Johnson nods at Oarsch to acknowledge the strikes.

Johnson seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Johnson takes a kick to the side of the head.
A solid leg kick lands there for Oarsch.
Oarsch misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oarsch throws a head kick that half lands.
Johnson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Oarsch sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnson somewhat.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Oarsch as he jumps to the side.

Johnson doesn't manage to clinch there - Oarsch circles away.
Oarsch moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Oarsch.

Oarsch has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Fruchtzwerg Oarsch showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Oarsch stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Oarsch wants it to stay on the feet.

and Oarsch counters with a nice low kick that buckles Johnson 's knee momentarily.
Oarsch throws a sloppy head kick and Johnson moves out of range easily.
As Oarsch looks to move away, Johnson throws a big counter combo but Oarsch just gets out of the way.
Fruchtzwerg Oarsch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Johnson moves into the clinch.

Oarsch pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Oarsch sprawls well. Oarsch wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Fruchtzwerg Oarsch comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Oarsch winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
