And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Esmond Cobb!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobb fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Barny looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Cobb lands with a shot to the body.
Cobb closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Blessed Barny has been cut.
Barny will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Cobb steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Barny.
Barny has his takedown stuffed
letting Cobb counter with a right hand.
Barny looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Cobb throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Barny crashing down! Barny tries to stagger back to his feet but Cobb just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Barny asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Esmond Cobb!
Blessed Barny was interviewed post fight and said 'He didnt want to grapple tho'.
