Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Zenek Malina! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malina uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Job. Malina defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Job. Malina tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Odd Job seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Malina buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Job uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Job shoots in for a takedown but Malina shows good takedown defense. Job doesn't succeed with the takedown so Malina counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Job has his feet on Malina's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Odd Job. That's going to take a lot out of him. Malina slips under a jab. This has been an exciting period of action!
