Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Takeshi Takeda (ranked 4708 p4p, 5316 weight class) and Takeshi Kuroda (ranked 519 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Takeshi Takeda has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeshi Kuroda!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takeda has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kuroda uses from the top position.

Takeda has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kuroda can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Let's hope that Kuroda has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Takeda shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kuroda's guard.
