Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joshua Cooper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Patrick Turgeon!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper lands a jab.
Turgeon connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Cooper staying out of range there.
Joshua Cooper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turgeon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cooper throws a body punch but Turgeon moves out of range.
Cooper tests Turgeon's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Cooper lands with an uppercut that bounces Turgeon off the cage and back into range.
Turgeon moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Turgeon scores with a body shot.
Cooper misses with a hook
and Turgeon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cooper ducks right into an uppercut from Turgeon.
Turgeon loads up on a big right hand but Cooper slips the punch.
Turgeon lands a big right hand that sends Cooper crashing to the mat! Turgeon stays standing though and waves Cooper back to his feet!
Cooper is rocked!
Turgeon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cooper was well out of range. Poor timing from Turgeon.
Oh Cooper is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Turgeon knocks Cooper out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
