Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jon Erikson (ranked 3446 p4p, 16685 weight class) and Boobie Miles Iii (ranked 416 p4p, 685 weight class). Erikson's entrance music is Gåte - Statt Opp. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miles Iii connects with a jab.

Miles Iii throws a body shot but no joy.

Miles Iii walks into a big right hand from Erikson and goes down! The referee sends Erikson to a neutral corner as Miles Iii gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
Miles Iii is rocked!
It looks like Boobie Miles Iii has been cut.
A nice leg kick lands there from Erikson.
Miles Iii is still on wobbly legs! Can Erikson finish him?

Miles Iii defending well as Erikson loads up on a big left hand.
Miles Iii seems to have recovered his senses.
Erikson throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Miles Iii crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Erikson - the referee stops the clock and Miles Iii gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Erikson. Miles Iii manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Miles Iii avoids the head kick by Erikson.
Erikson lands with a good body shot.
Erikson clips Miles Iii with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Miles Iii a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Erikson catches Miles Iii with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Miles Iii forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
