Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kilian Piper (ranked 6190 p4p, 4511 weight class) and Terrance Harris (ranked 596 p4p, 535 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kilian Piper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terrance Harris! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris stuffs the takedown. Piper lands with a kick to the temple. Harris shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Terrance Harris has been cut. Harris loads up on a big right hand but Piper slips the punch. Piper shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Harris manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Harris throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Piper trying to control but Harris is working from the bottom. Harris is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Piper is aware though and is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Piper trying to control the position from guard on top but Harris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Piper controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Piper missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Harris is trying to keep Piper in close.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Harris is adopting a defensive guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Harris swings and misses with a hook to the body.
No joy there for Harris, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Piper gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Harris cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Piper checks a leg kick. Piper with a poor takedown enabling Harris to counter with a crisp jab. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kilian Piper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Piper tries to clinch but fails miserably and Harris counters with a stiff right hand. A looping hook to the body misses from Harris. Piper does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Piper takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Harris lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Harris gets caught napping as Piper dives in and scores a takedown. Harris manages to retain guard. Harris pulls Piper in close to his closed guard and prevents Piper from doing any damage or advancing position. Harris escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Piper gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Piper pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Harris is keeping the position for now. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Piper gets to his feet. Harris looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Harris throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Piper throws a sloppy head kick and Harris moves out of range easily. Harris tries to bum rush Piper with a series of wild strikes but Piper uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Piper tries to clinch but Harris is having none of it. Harris fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Piper checks it well. Harris scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Piper doesn't seem bothered though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Piper moves away from the strike by Harris. Piper has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Piper there as he acknowledges the shot. Harris throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Piper stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Harris lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Piper takes a shot right to the bread basket. Harris misses with a kick to the body.
Terrance Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Harris wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Harris is looking to score with low kicks. Harris defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Piper. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Harris moves out of range of the leg kick from Piper. Harris blocks a low kick nicely. A nice side step and Harris releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Piper slips under a jab. Piper tries to counter by clinching up but Harris breaks away and moves out of range. Piper darts in looking for a takedown but Harris gets double underhooks and turns Piper into the cage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Terrance Harris dominated that round. The cut man is working on Terrance Harris's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Harris showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Piper.
Harris fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Piper looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Piper tries for a takedown but Harris sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Harris has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Piper takes one on the button. Nice sprawl there from Harris as Piper shoots in. Piper shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Harris counters into the clinch. Nicely done. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kilian Piper. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Piper manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Piper seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Harris drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Piper dives on top into guard. Piper passes Harris's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Piper sitting and controlling from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harris trying to control but Piper postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Piper is trying to work for a kimura but Harris is defending well.
Piper frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Piper working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Harris looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Piper! Submission of the night perhaps?
