The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azevedo Souza keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Azevedo Souza throws a quick inside leg kick.

Rinda fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Rinda tries to close the distance and clinch up but Azevedo Souza swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Azevedo Souza was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Rinda shoots and misses

Miguel Azevedo Souza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anwar Rinda.

Rinda manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Azevedo Souza on his heels. He'll look to pass Azevedo Souza's guard now, I'm sure.
Rinda looking to sit in guard and control but Azevedo Souza gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Rinda looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Azevedo Souza has picked Rinda up and slammed him! Rinda can't keep hold of the triangle and Azevedo Souza manages to pass to side control!

Rinda trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.

Azevedo Souza is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Rinda knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Rinda for a finish.

Rinda is looking for a kimura but Azevedo Souza is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rinda to get the leverage.

Azevedo Souza is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Rinda passes Azevedo Souza's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Rinda looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Azevedo Souza is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rinda's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rinda's back!

Rinda is looking to control the hands but Azevedo Souza breaks free and manages to sink in a rear naked choke that ends the fight!
