Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, William Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vincent Desrosiers!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace shoots in for a double leg but Desrosiers sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Desrosiers closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Wallace wants to control but Desrosiers postures up.
Wallace is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Wallace throws a strike from the bottom but Desrosiers passes into side control!
Wallace is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Desrosiers is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wallace is working to get back to half guard.
Wallace is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Desrosiers tries to control but Wallace wriggling away.

Wallace sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Desrosiers stands up from half guard.

Desrosiers can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wallace is looking to escape.

Desrosiers's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Desrosiers blocks Wallace's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Wallace is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Desrosiers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wallace. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Desrosiers avoids the attempt from Wallace to control.

Desrosiers blocks Wallace's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Wallace is breathing heavily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Wallace tries to lock up and control but Desrosiers gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Desrosiers tries to bum rush Wallace with a series of wild strikes but Wallace uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Desrosiers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Wallace. No joy for Desrosiers on that attempt.

and Desrosiers counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Desrosiers.
Wallace changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Desrosiers fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Desrosiers clinches up with Wallace and pushes him back against the cage.
Desrosiers lands an elbow just above Wallace 's eye.


It looks like William Wallace has been cut.

and Desrosiers counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Desrosiers not doing much here.

Wallace has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Desrosiers. Oh but Wallace has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Desrosiers goes limp - he's gone! Wallace jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
