Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aidan Gabriel (ranked 6469 p4p, 6254 weight class) and Corey Miller (ranked 669 p4p, 657 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aidan Gabriel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corey Miller! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gabriel's waist but Gabriel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Miller off to one side. Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Gabriel paws at him with a jab and circles away. Gabriel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Miller avoids it really well and circles away. Gabriel clinches with his opponent.
Gabriel manages to break the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Gabriel. No joy for Miller on that attempt. Miller shoots in but Gabriel avoids the takedown attempt easily. Aidan Gabriel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Corey Miller. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller shoots and misses and Gabriel counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Miller tries to break free but Gabriel pushes him back against the ropes. Miller is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Gabriel pulls him back up using the underhooks. Gabriel avoiding damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gabriel tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Miller just stands there and leans against the ropes. Gabriel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Miller leaves Gabriel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Miller throws a combination. Gabriel tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Aidan Gabriel has been cut. Miller avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gabriel instigates a clinch. Miller is pressed up against the ropes. Gabriel has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Miller down to the mat. Miller avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Miller looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Miller tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gabriel throws a looping overhand right but Miller ducks down to avoid it. Miller looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller gets caught napping as Gabriel dives in and scores a takedown. Miller manages to retain guard. Miller is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gabriel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miller swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gabriel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Miller on the ground. Miller looking for a triangle here. Gabriel is fighting it but it looks tight! Miller pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Gabriel is tapping out - this one is all over!
