The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins throws a hook to the side of Catartes's head but Catartes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Catartes! But no joy.
Jenkins has his takedown stuffed
and Catartes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Catartes just misses with a punch to the body.
Jenkins dips to his left and cracks Catartes with an uppercut!
Catartes with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Jenkins throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Catartes! But no joy.
Jenkins throws out a leg kick but Catartes moves out of range and Jenkins only half commits.
Catartes throws a series of punches but Jenkins moves out of range.
Catartes scores with a sloppy right hand. Jenkins should have avoided that one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jenkins takes a swing at Catartes's ribcage but misses.
We've been informed that Catartes has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Catartes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jenkins drops his hands momentarily and Catartes needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Jenkins just on the top of the head. Jenkins drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Jenkins - he's done!
