Contreiras bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Hawthorne looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Hawthorne tries to clinch there but Contreiras circles away.
Contreiras connects with a looping right hand.
Hawthorne tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Contreiras paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hawthorne is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Contreiras.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Contreiras! But no joy.

Contreiras's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hawthorne connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Contreiras scrambles back to his feet.
Contreiras's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hawthorne under the eye.

Contreiras drops Hawthorne with a huge uppercut! Hawthorne drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Contreiras is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Victor Contreiras really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Brooklyn Apothecary logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
