Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Short misses with a body shot.
Short misses with a straight left.
Hardman thinks about countering with a head kick.
Short throws a body punch but Hardman moves out of range.
Hardman quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Short getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Short scores with a decent looking hook.

and Hardman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Sam Short has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Hardman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Short feints and then cracks Hardman's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hardman down.
Short misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Short throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hardman swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
A big right from Short misses.
Short wants to slow Hardman down by chopping away at his legs.
Hardman was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Short waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hardman.
Short throws a shot from downtown. Hardman moves away and avoids it.
Hardman quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Short drops Hardman with a beautiful combination! Hardman stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Short is looking for the KO!

It looked like Hardman was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Oh Hardman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hardman bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Short comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Hardman falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Hardman was out before he hit the floor!
