Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Vick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Santiago Rodriguez!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vick shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rodriguez but Rodriguez pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A little jabbing left from Rodriguez on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Vick will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Vick misses with a takedown attempt
and Rodriguez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Vick. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vick has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Vick there as he acknowledges the shot.
and Rodriguez counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Vick! He's just covering up as Rodriguez starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
