Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Rory Roshi (ranked 4978 p4p, 6831 weight class) and Roberto Marley (ranked 600 p4p, 686 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rory Roshi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Roberto Marley! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roshi throws a body shot but no joy. Marley looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Roshi is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Roshi drives through and clinches with Marley against the ropes.
A short right from Roshi. Marley looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Roshi misses with a body punch.
Roshi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Roshi throws a body shot but no joy. Roshi clinches up with Marley and pushes him back against the ropes. Marley blocks a body shot from Roshi. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roshi throws a punch but it's blocked by Marley. Marley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Marley prevents a body shot from Roshi. Roshi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Roshi moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Roberto Marley has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roshi darts in and clinches Marley up against the ropes. Marley blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Roshi lands a right hand. Roshi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Roshi tries to bum rush Marley with a series of wild strikes but Marley uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Marley wants to clinch. Marley tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Roshi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Marley walks into a big right hand from Roshi and goes down! The referee sends Roshi to a neutral corner as Marley gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Roshi gets in close and instigates a clinch. Roshi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Roshi cracks Marley with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Marley is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Marley is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Marley could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Rory Roshi! An out of breath Rory Roshi thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career. Roberto Marley was interviewed post fight and said 'Let's smoke some ganja maaan'.
