Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Akira Hanzo (ranked 6055 p4p, 24776 weight class) and Celeste Glasgow (ranked 588 p4p, 658 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Hanzo tries to free his leg and advance position but Glasgow is retaining full guard.

Hanzo stands up and waves to Glasgow to follow him.
Glasgow's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hanzo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Glasgow scrambles back to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

and Hanzo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Hanzo lands a couple of elbows.
Hanzo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Hanzo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Hanzo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Glasgow swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Glasgow rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hanzo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Glasgow swings wildly with an uppercut but Hanzo uses good head movement to avoid it.

Glasgow lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Hanzo lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Glasgow is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hanzo crunches a lovely knee into Glasgow's ribcage.

It looks like Celeste Glasgow has been cut.
Hanzo putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Glasgow in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Hanzo throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Glasgow has his hands clasped together but Hanzo breaks the hold and Glasgow is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Hanzo!
