Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 36 - 1, fighting out of London, Victor Mordino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Flavio Ruas!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mordino uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ruas.
Mordino tries a head kick but it misses.
Ruas looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ruas cracks Mordino with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Ruas smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Mordino uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ruas.
Ruas throws a big shot that misses.
Mordino does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Ruas makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

It looked like Mordino was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ruas.

Ruas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mordino misses with a double jab.
Mordino throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Flavio Ruas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mordino takes a swing at Ruas's ribcage but misses.
Ruas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mordino.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mordino takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ruas catches Mordino with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Mordino drops his guard momentarily, allowing Ruas to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Mordino! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Ruas takes it!
