Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Freddy Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Alexyev swivels and escapes.

Alexyev rushes Jackson and presses him up against the cage.
Alexyev lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Jackson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Alexyev is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Alexyev breaks the clinch.

Jackson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Alexyev sprawls well initially but Jackson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Alexyev has one foot on Jackson's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Alexyev on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Alexyev tries to get out of the position.

The crowd cheers as Alexyev lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jackson doesn't seem phased though.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Alexyev looks like he's trying to stand up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Jackson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Alexyev throws a sloppy head kick and Jackson moves out of range easily.

Jackson loads up on a big left hand. Alexyev felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Jackson looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Alexyev can't hide his disappointment, as Jackson celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Freddy Jackson!
After winning the bout, Freddy Jackson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
