Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jasur Pak (ranked 5012 p4p, 4762 weight class) and Antonio Correira (ranked 418 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pak fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Correira avoids it really well and circles away.
Pak throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Pak closes the distance and clinches up with Correira, looking for a takedown. Pak pushes Correira against the cage but Correira circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Pak is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Correira is aware though and is defending well.
Pak working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Correira doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Correira manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Correira throws the kick towards the body but Pak avoids it.
Pak lands a nice shot to the body.
Correira fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pak sprawls well initially but Correira persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

and Correira counters by clinching up.

Correira is trying to trip Pak. He has hold of a leg but Pak is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Correira persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jasur Pak will probably get the nod.

Correira wants to get up but he can't break Pak's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Pak looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Correira is defending well. Pak quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Correira has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Pak celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
