Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Torhte Finlayson (ranked 119 p4p, 696 weight class) and Otis Yates (ranked 26 p4p, 107 weight class). Finlayson comes to the cage accompanied by Scotland the Brave, Black Bear. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Torhte Finlayson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Otis Yates!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yates rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Finlayson counter with a right hand.
It looks like Otis Yates has been cut.
Finlayson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Finlayson misses with a looping right.
Finlayson scores with a jab.
Yates staying out of range there.
Finlayson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Finlayson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Finlayson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Finlayson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Finlayson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Yates at a distance.
Finlayson getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Yates misses the shot to the body.
Finlayson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Yates.
Yates swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Finlayson jabs Yates right on the nose. Yates blinks but takes it well.
Torhte Finlayson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Finlayson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Finlayson throws a predictable looking body shot
and Yates counters with a straight right hand.
Finlayson cracks Yates with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Yates looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Finlayson finish him?
Yates is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Finlayson finds Yates's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Yates flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Finlayson lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Yates will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Torhte Finlayson!
