Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hans Holmes (ranked 1940 p4p, 463 weight class) and Maro Pjetlic (ranked 250 p4p, 74 weight class). Holmes kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mama Said Knock You Out. The crowd seem to be enjoying Pjetlic's choice of entrance music: Legend. Hans Holmes had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hans Holmes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Maro Pjetlic!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pjetlic closes the distance and clinches.
Pjetlic lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Pjetlic misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Holmes wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pjetlic has him pressed against the cage.
Holmes can't break the clinch.
Holmes is trying to break free.
Pjetlic lands a hook that snaps the head of Holmes backwards.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Pjetlic.
Holmes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Holmes seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Pjetlic looks to score with a jab to the body but Holmes is just out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Holmes. Pjetlic does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hans Holmes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holmes lands with a shot to the body.
Holmes throws a lazy right hand but Pjetlic sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pjetlic tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pjetlic, as that shot connected.
Pjetlic gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Holmes is trying to break the clinch but Pjetlic is controlling him.
Pjetlic keeps control of Holmes as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Pjetlic tries a body shot but Holmes blocks it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Holmes looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Pjetlic lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Pjetlic digs a right hand underneath Holmes's ribcage. Holmes let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Pjetlic works on Holmes's body with a couple of short punches.

Pjetlic pushes Holmes back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Holmes blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Pjetlic lands a right hand.
Holmes wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Pjetlic misses with a punch to the body.
Holmes has had enough of the clinch but Pjetlic keeps him there for the moment.
Holmes breaks the clinch.

It looks like Hans Holmes has been cut.
Pjetlic scores with a crisp jab that stopped Holmes in his tracks.
The fighters circling - Holmes throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Holmes misses with a lunging right hand
and Pjetlic counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Holmes is breathing heavily.
Pjetlic with a jab.
Holmes walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Pjetlic checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Pjetlic drops Holmes with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Holmes! Pjetlic dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maro Pjetlic!
An out of breath Maro Pjetlic thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
