Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Durans Helmsfrid (ranked 5851 p4p, 4321 weight class) and Osman Osmanoglu (ranked 601 p4p, 520 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Durans Helmsfrid! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Osman Osmanoglu! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Osmanoglu wants to clinch and Helmsfrid counters with a shoot takedown. Osmanoglu fights it but they end up in guard. Helmsfrid lands a couple of decent looking shots. Osmanoglu lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Osmanoglu trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Helmsfrid pulls Osmanoglu in close to prevent any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Osmanoglu pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Helmsfrid is keeping the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Osmanoglu stopping the sweep attempt from Helmsfrid. Helmsfrid has his hands on Osmanoglu's head, controlling the position. Helmsfrid has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Helmsfrid wants to sweep here but Osmanoglu controlling him for the moment. Osmanoglu trying to control the position from guard on top but Helmsfrid is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Helmsfrid wants to sweep but no luck. Osmanoglu is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. I've been told that Osmanoglu has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Let's see how much of an impact it has on the outcome of the ground game. Osmanoglu pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Helmsfrid is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Helmsfrid has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Helmsfrid is on top in guard.
Helmsfrid wants to control from the top but Osmanoglu keeps moving. Helmsfrid got a little sloppy there for a moment and Osmanoglu has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Helmsfrid has managed to get both his arms back between Osmanoglu's legs - danger averted. Osmanoglu pushes a forearm under Helmsfrid's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Helmsfrid is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
