Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anigav Rennid (ranked 4241 p4p, 2617 weight class) and Big Zac Tan (ranked 548 p4p, 387 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Tan's choice of entrance music: Thunder. Anigav Rennid has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Anigav Rennid! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Big Zac Tan! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rennid gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Tan looking to pass the guard. Tan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Tan postures up and lands a big shot to Rennid's brow. Tan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Tan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Tan throws a big right hand that misses. Tan is stalling in the full guard. Rennid has momentary wrist control but Tan slips an elbow through the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Tan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tan controlling from the top position. Tan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rennid's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tan is in close to Rennid's body, working some short punches and elbows.
It looks like Anigav Rennid has been cut. Tan makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Tan landing some decent shots from guard. Tan stays in close to Rennid's body and controls the position. Tan cracks Rennid with a solid left hand. Rennid will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Tan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rennid works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Tan stands up over Rennid, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Tan working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Rennid is breathing heavily. Tan postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Rennid covers up, he's hurt! Tan keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Tan and the ref steps in to end the fight! Tan can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Big Zac Tan! An intense looking Big Zac Tan took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'I was the better fighter out there tonight and the result reflects that.
