Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Shape Shifter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Branibar Voiwar!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voiwar misses with a combination

and Shifter counters with a shoot takedown. Voiwar fights it but they end up in guard.
Voiwar wants to stand and escape but Shifter is having none of it.

Shifter thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Voiwar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shifter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Shifter tries to free his leg and advance position but Voiwar is retaining full guard.

Shifter postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Voiwar is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shifter, into his guard.

Shifter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Voiwar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shifter looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Voiwar not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Voiwar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Voiwar seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Shifter tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Shifter is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Shifter is looking to cinch up a triangle. Voiwar throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Shifter's body to avoid the submission. Shifter has instead reached around Voiwar's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Shifter arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
