The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
AI moves in looking to clinch but Freeze pushes him off.
Freeze swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
AI shoots in but Freeze avoids the takedown attempt easily.

You can see the frustration on Freeze's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
AI prevents Freeze from improving his position.
AI is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Freeze tries to roll over but AI keeps him under control.
AI perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Freeze wants to get back to full guard but AI has passed into side control.

AI seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Freeze does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

AI wants to work for an arm triangle but Freeze is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Freeze takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Freeze circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops AI to the canvas! AI doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Freeze keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
