Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yu Yan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tonio Oliveira!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Yan gets back to half guard.
Oliveira controlling the pace.
Yan looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Oliveira seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Yan has recovered full guard.
Yan throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oliveira stays in close to Yan's body and controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Oliveira drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Yan dives on top into guard.
Oliveira keeping moving, preventing Yan from controlling successfully.
Yan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Oliveira working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Yan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Yan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Oliveira looking for a guillotine here but Yan defends easily.
Yan is posturing up here but Oliveira has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Yan tries to roll out but it's too tight and Yan has to tap! Slick submission there by Oliveira!
