Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oliveira bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Yan gets back to half guard.
Oliveira controlling the pace.

Oliveira seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Yan has recovered full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oliveira stays in close to Yan's body and controls the position.

Oliveira drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Yan dives on top into guard.

Yan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Oliveira working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Yan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Yan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
