The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wellington misses with a low kick.
DeAngelo tries to clinch up but Wellington circles away and keeps his distance.
A low kick from Wellington is predictable there
and DeAngelo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Wellington.
DeAngelo moves out of range of the body kick from Wellington.
Wellington looks to throw a body kick
and DeAngelo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Wellington is rocked!
DeAngelo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Wellington is still on wobbly legs! Can DeAngelo finish him?
Wellington looks for the body kick but DeAngelo saw that one coming.
Wellington uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from DeAngelo.
Wellington looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Wellington seems to have recovered his senses.
Wellington tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
DeAngelo swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Wellington finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Wellington walks straight into a right hand from DeAngelo - that's dropped him! DeAngelo jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Wellington from any more punishment! Wellington complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
