Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Red Crow (ranked 495 p4p, 565 weight class) and Keisuke Matsuzaka (ranked 72 p4p, 84 weight class). Keisuke Matsuzaka has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Red Crow's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Red Crow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Keisuke Matsuzaka!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Crow.
Crow thows a left - swing and a miss!
The crowd cheers as Crow lands an impressive looking overhand right. Matsuzaka doesn't seem phased though.
Crow misses with a takedown
and Matsuzaka counters with a stiff right hand.
Crow throws a solid leg kick but Matsuzaka takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Crow.
Matsuzaka checks a low kick from Crow.
Crow scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Matsuzaka doesn't seem bothered though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Crow postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Crow is trying to ground and pound but Matsuzaka uses the momentary lack of control by Crow to regain half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Crow can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Matsuzaka controls the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Crow shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Matsuzaka defends it nicely.

Crow shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Matsuzaka has momentary wrist control but Crow slips an elbow through the middle.

Crow throws an elbow that misses. Matsuzaka uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Crow's guard. Nice move by Matsuzaka!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Matsuzaka takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Crow with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Matsuzaka to score with a decent uppercut.
Crow finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Oh Crow is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

No joy there for Matsuzaka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Keisuke Matsuzaka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Matsuzaka has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Keisuke Matsuzaka rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
