Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Antonio Jose De Sucre (ranked 23156 p4p, 22231 weight class) and Francis Begbie (ranked 719 p4p, 731 weight class). De Sucre's entrance music is Bolivianos el Hado Propicio. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Begbie's choice of entrance music: Raining Blood. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 44 - 49 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Antonio Jose De Sucre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Francis Begbie!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Sucre throws a right hand that misses
and Begbie counters with a straight right hand.
No joy there for De Sucre, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
De Sucre throws a jab but it's blocked by Begbie.
De Sucre looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Begbie has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
De Sucre missing with a left hand there. Begbie was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Begbie thuds his right hand into De Sucre's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
De Sucre jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Begbie will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
De Sucre swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
De Sucre scores with a big combo that sends Begbie crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Begbie flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! De Sucre jumps onto the cage and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.
