The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Noitez instigates a clinch.

Turner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've been informed that Noitez has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Noitez rushes Turner and presses him up against the cage.

Turner breaks from the clinch.

Noitez gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Noitez drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Turner gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Noitez swings wildly with an uppercut but Turner uses good head movement to avoid it.

Noitez dips a shoulder and cracks Turner with a mighty uppercut! Turner falls back against the cage and Noitez unloads with a barrage of strikes! Turner is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Noitez screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
