Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rou Joukani (ranked 1770 p4p, 4353 weight class) and Michael Dunn (ranked 254 p4p, 522 weight class). Rou Joukani could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Michael Dunn's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rou Joukani! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Dunn! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A kick lands to the mid section there for Joukani. Dunn has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Joukani swings for the body but Dunn moves out of range.
Joukani pushing out the jab but it's not landing. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dunn! But no joy. A head kick by Joukani misses and Dunn counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Dunn takes a swing at Joukani's ribcage but misses. Dunn catches Joukani with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Dunn throws a lazy uppercut
and Joukani finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Joukani has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Zenarals' House in the buildup to the fight. Joukani swings for the body but Dunn moves out of range.
Joukani fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dunn. Dunn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Joukani seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Nice uppercut there from Joukani.
It looks like Michael Dunn has been cut. Joukani throws a big shot that misses. Dunn takes a shot to the body in his stride.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dunn avoids the head kick by Joukani.
Joukani looks to land a body kick but Dunn moved away. A jab from Joukani misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head kick misses from Joukani. Joukani scores with a nice strike. The fighters circling - Joukani throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A big right from Joukani misses. It seemed like Dunn was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Dunn misses with a straight right. Joukani circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Dunn drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Joukani follows Dunn to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rou Joukani! In his post fight interview, Rou Joukani started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
