Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kim Kurry (ranked 4736 p4p, 24818 weight class) and Vvv Vvv (ranked 251 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kim Kurry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vvv Vvv!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kurry gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kurry lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Kurry's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Vvv gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kurry.
Kurry tries to work over Vvv's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vvv is trying to break the clinch but Kurry is controlling him.
Vvv tries to circle away but Kurry has him pinned against the cage.
Kurry is struggling to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kurry is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kurry tries to pull guard but Vvv holds him up against the cage and eventually Kurry drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kim Kurry. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kurry's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kurry lands a right hook to the body.
Kurry tries to clinch up.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kurry.
Vvv takes a kick to the side of the head.
Kurry tries to clinch up but Vvv circles away and keeps his distance.
Vvv doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Vvv.
Kurry scores with a jab. Vvv acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vvv.
Kurry shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Vvv counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Kurry will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Vvv dives in and grabs Kurry's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kurry pushes down on Vvv's head and hops out.
It looked like Kurry was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Kurry fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Vvv is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kurry with a body shot.
Kurry shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Kurry closes the distance and clinches.

Kurry has Vvv pressed against the cage, preventing Vvv from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Kurry is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Kurry manages to break the clinch.

Vvv shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Vvv must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Kurry keeping moving, preventing Vvv from controlling successfully.
Kurry looking for a sweep. Not yet Kurry, not yet.
Kurry pulls Vvv in close to prevent any damage.
Vvv prevents Kurry from getting back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Kurry has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Vvv is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Kurry's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kurry is defended easily by Vvv.
Vvv now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Nice sprawl there from Vvv as Kurry shoots in.
Vvv doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Kurry tries to close the distance and clinch but Vvv swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A nice side step and Vvv releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Kurry closes the distance and pushes Vvv back into the cage.

Kurry breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kim Kurry is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kurry throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Vvv unleashes a big counter combination but Kurry bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kurry is defended easily by Vvv.
Vvv is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kurry with a body shot.

Vvv stuffs the takedown attempt from Kurry. Kurry gets slowly back to his feet.
A countering left hand to the body from Vvv misses.
Kurry throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vvv keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kurry tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Vvv gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kurry to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Kurry throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Vvv works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Kurry decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Kurry feints and then cracks Vvv's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vvv down.

Kurry shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Vvv napping and manages to drive through into side control!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kurry working the strikes but Vvv uses the opportunity to regain half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kurry is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Vvv is just riding it out for now. Kurry eventually gives up the hold.

Kurry is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Kurry controlling the action here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kurry stops Vvv from getting back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kurry performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Kurry missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Kurry controlling the action here.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kurry looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vvv is fending him off so far but Kurry persists. Nope, Vvv circles away and we're back to standing.
Kurry swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Vvv counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kim Kurry dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Kurry closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vvv circles away.
Vvv appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Kurry cracks a nice hook into Vvv's ribs.
Kim Kurry is winning the standup battle so far.
Kurry shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vvv as he avoids it easily.
Vvv blocks a head kick by Kurry.
A nice side step and Vvv releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Good leg kick by Kurry.
Kurry goes for a double leg but Vvv avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Vvv continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kim Kurry. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kurry jumps guard but Vvv stands there with Kurry around his waist. Kurry gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vvv wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kurry is working for takedown but Vvv is calmly controlling the position for now.

Kurry has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Vvv avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Vvv is looking for a takedown.
Kurry has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Vvv is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Vvv looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Vvv breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Vvv slaps away a takedown attempt from Kurry, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kurry wants to clinch
and Vvv counters with a two punch combo.

Kurry stuffs the takedown.
Kurry tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
And Vvv responds with a good body kick, but Kurry manages to step out the way in time.

Vvv shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kurry is trying to defend but Vvv finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Kurry scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Vvv manages to mount him!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vvv trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Kurry keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Vvv avoids the attempt from Kurry to control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kurry is trying to escape the mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vvv Vvv has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kim Kurry is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Vvv avoids the attempt from Kurry to control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Vvv Vvv comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Kurry has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
