Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ikemba Okoye!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Circa Plinths!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plinths lands with an overhand left.
Plinths defending well as Okoye loads up on a big left hand.
Plinths getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Okoye takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Okoye tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Plinths was well out of range. Poor timing from Okoye.
Plinths looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Okoye tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Plinths manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Plinths slips a jab from Okoye.
Jab, jab by Plinths - just one landing.
Okoye misses with a looping left.
Okoye moves in looking to clinch but Plinths pushes him off.
Okoye tries to clinch but Plinths moves away
and Plinths counters with a crisp right hand that drops Okoye! Plinths lets Okoye back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Ikemba Okoye has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Okoye misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Plinths.
Plinths lands a big uppercut and Okoye crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Okoye looks OK. Plinths waves Okoye back to his feet!
Okoye is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Plinths lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Okoye head around and knocks him out cold! Plinths hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Circa Plinths!
