The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Valle shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Del Valle takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Del Valle goes for a double leg but Luciano avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Luciano continues to drive forward.

Del Valle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Luciano swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Luciano is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

It looks like Del Valle might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
