Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lee Tassen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rocco Dunkin !
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunkin loads up on a big right hand but Tassen slips the punch.
Rocco Dunkin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tassen scores with a body shot.
Dunkin throws an off balance right hand
so Tassen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Dunkin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tassen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dunkin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Dunkin has his foot on Tassen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tassen works his way back into a safe position though.
Tassen stands up over Dunkin , holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tassen wants to pass the guard but Dunkin is keeping the position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tassen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Tassen lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Dunkin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tassen controls the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dunkin working for a triangle but Tassen defends it easily.
Tassen slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Tassen stands up over Dunkin , holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
It looks like Rocco Dunkin has been cut.
Dunkin is looking for a triangle but Tassen pushes his legs off easily.
Tassen connects with a couple of short punches.
Tassen works over Dunkin with some ground and pound from guard.
Tassen distracts Dunkin with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Tassen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dunkin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tassen has managed to get both his arms back between Dunkin 's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Tassen with a nice head shot there.
Tassen is in close to Dunkin 's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Tassen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dunkin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Dunkin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tassen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Dunkin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tassen defends well.
We've been informed that Dunkin has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Dunkin looks winded!
Dunkin has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Tassen is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dunkin .
Tassen moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Tassen lands some shots froms side control.
Dunkin tries to buck Tassen off but Tassen is having none of it.

Dunkin sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Dunkin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tassen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dunkin with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Tassen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dunkin on the ground.
Nice strikes from Tassen there.
That has opened up Rocco Dunkin 's cut even more.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Tassen lands a nice short elbow.
The cut above Rocco Dunkin 's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Dunkin is looking to improve his position.
Tassen seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Rocco Dunkin 's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rocco Dunkin 's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Lee Tassen!
