Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pulla Pesonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarkko Ruutu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruutu has chosen YMCA as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pulla Pesonen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jarkko Ruutu!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pesonen shoots in for a takedown but Ruutu shows good takedown defense.
Ruutu connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Pesonen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ruutu circles away.
Ruutu tries to bum rush Pesonen with a series of wild strikes but Pesonen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pesonen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ruutu.
Ruutu swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ruutu throws a hook to the side of Pesonen's head but Pesonen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ruutu takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Ruutu drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Pesonen looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Ruutu wants to control from the top but Pesonen keeps moving.
Ruutu drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pesonen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ruutu has Pesonen in his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ruutu has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Pesonen off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Ruutu throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ruutu throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pesonen on the side of the head.
Pesonen with a lazy takedown attempt
and Ruutu counters with a one-two to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pulla Pesonen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ruutu lands a brutal head kick. Pesonen looks out on his feet and Ruutu throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
