The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helmsfrid Jr scores with a body shot.
Gibber tries for a takedown but Helmsfrid Jr circles away easily
and Gibber takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gibber darts in looking for a takedown but Helmsfrid Jr gets double underhooks and turns Gibber into the cage.
Helmsfrid Jr has Gibber pressed against the cage.

Gibber jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Helmsfrid Jr walks away with a smile on his face. Gibber gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Gibber connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Gibber throws a sloppy head kick and Helmsfrid Jr moves out of range easily.

Gibber forces Helmsfrid Jr back against the cage and clinches.
Helmsfrid Jr has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Gibber is trying to pull guard but Helmsfrid Jr turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
