Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Chelios.
Chelios ducks right into an uppercut from Burenkov.
Chelios throws a looping overhand right but Burenkov ducks down to avoid it.
Chelios misses with a looping right.
Burenkov tests Chelios's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Chelios connects with the punch.

Burenkov scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Chelios is looking to control Burenkov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Chelios avoid being mounted?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chelios's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Chelios stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chelios wants it to stay on the feet.
Chelios does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Burenkov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chelios.

Chelios darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Chelios throws a lazy right hand but Burenkov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Burenkov ducks under a wild hook from Chelios.
Burenkov feints the counter takedown.
Chelios throws an overhand right that lands on Burenkov's shoulder, as Burenkov tries to avoid the shot.
Chelios misses the shot to the body.
Burenkov needs to keep his hands up - Chelios had a free shot at his head there.

It looks like Chelios has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Jensen Chelios has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergey Burenkov.
Chelios throws out a leg kick but Burenkov moves out of range and Chelios only half commits.

Chelios circles away from the clinch attempt.
Chelios swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Burenkov gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Burenkov misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Chelios breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Chelios scores with a sloppy right hand. Burenkov should have avoided that one.
Burenkov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Chelios defends well and Burenkov ends up having to push Chelios into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Burenkov takes one to the chin there.
Burenkov thuds his right hand into Chelios's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Chelios scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Burenkov is defended easily by Chelios.
Chelios loads up on a big right hand but Burenkov slips the punch.
Chelios is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Burenkov.

It looks like Sergey Burenkov has been cut.

Chelios breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Burenkov is still on wobbly legs! Can Chelios finish him?
Burenkov doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Chelios counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Burenkov glances at the clock... BAM! Chelios nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Burenkov crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Burenkov is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
