Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mitch Krunkelstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Troy Morningstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krunkelstein comes to the cage accompanied by Cause I'm a Jew. Mitch Krunkelstein has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mitch Krunkelstein! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Troy Morningstar! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.

It looks like Mitch Krunkelstein has been cut. Krunkelstein connects with a crisp jab.
Morningstar closes the distance and clinches.
Morningstar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Morningstar moves into the clinch successfully.
Morningstar pulls Krunkelstein into guard.
Morningstar pulls Krunkelstein in close to prevent any damage. Morningstar wants to stand but Krunkelstein is controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Morningstar is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Morningstar kicks Krunkelstein off and gets to his feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Krunkelstein tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Morningstar counters by moving into the clinch.

Morningstar connects with a nasty looking knee right to Krunkelstein's face.
Morningstar unloads a knee to the mid-section. Krunkelstein lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. A bit of stalling here from Morningstar.
Krunkelstein jumps guard.
Krunkelstein is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Krunkelstein will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Krunkelstein is breathing heavily. Morningstar stopping the sweep attempt from Krunkelstein.
Krunkelstein had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Morningstar is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Krunkelstein Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Morningstar's back instead.

Krunkelstein seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Morningstar's chin but Morningstar turns very nicely into Krunkelstein's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Morningstar.
Morningstar's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Krunkelstein is working an open guard so Morningstar takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Krunkelstein gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Krunkelstein throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Morningstar escapes and throws Krunkelstein's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Let's hope that Morningstar has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Krunkelstein is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Morningstar off and has taken his back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Morningstar is having to fend off submission attempts from Krunkelstein, who is looking to sink in the choke. Krunkelstein doesn't have the hooks in though and Morningstar manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Morningstar wants to pass the guard but Krunkelstein is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Troy Morningstar dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mitch Krunkelstein's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Krunkelstein dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Krunkelstein keeps the fight on the outside. Krunkelstein clinches but Morningstar breaks the clinch
and Morningstar counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Krunkelstein tries to kick Morningstar off but Morningstar keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Morningstar prevents Krunkelstein from improving his position. Krunkelstein manages to get to full guard.
Morningstar stands up and waves to Krunkelstein to follow him.

Krunkelstein really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. An inside leg kick lands from Morningstar. Krunkelstein doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Morningstar moves into the clinch. Morningstar connects with a knee to the head.
Morningstar drags the fight down to the ground.
Krunkelstein passes Morningstar's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Morningstar wants to get back to his feet.
Troy Morningstar has got the better of the ground game so far.
Krunkelstein is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Morningstar doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Krunkelstein.
Krunkelstein is trying to work for a kimura but Morningstar is defending well.

Krunkelstein tries to pass to full mount but Morningstar defends it. Morningstar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Krunkelstein. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Krunkelstein is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Morningstar has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Krunkelstein is working away from the top position though.

Krunkelstein is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Morningstar defends it well. Morningstar makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Morningstar. Krunkelstein is looking to stand up but Morningstar won't let him.

Krunkelstein gets full guard. Krunkelstein tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Troy Morningstar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Mitch Krunkelstein's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Morningstar tries to clinch but Krunkelstein moves out of range. Mitch Krunkelstein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Morningstar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Krunkelstein paws at him with a jab and circles away. Morningstar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Morningstar counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Morningstar. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Morningstar just misses with a elbow thrown towards Krunkelstein's brow.
Krunkelstein ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Krunkelstein no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Krunkelstein is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Morningstar frees his head nicely. Oh but Krunkelstein has switched to an armbar! Morningstar is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
