Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pekka Niska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Macheda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson Macheda will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niska shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Macheda as he jumps to the side.
Macheda shoots in for a double leg but Niska sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Niska doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Macheda counters by clinching up.
Niska escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Macheda gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Macheda lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Macheda looking to throw knees to the head but Niska is blocking nicely.
Macheda has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Niska clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Niska manages to reverse the position and now he's in Macheda's guard. Nice work there by Niska.
Niska passes into half guard.
Macheda tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Niska seems to be looking for submissions.
Niska is breathing heavily.
Niska is looking for a kimura but Macheda is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Niska to get the leverage.
Macheda tries to kick Niska off but Niska keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Macheda moves into full guard.
Macheda thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Macheda wants to sweep but no luck.
Macheda wants to get back to his feet but Niska is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Niska pushes down on Macheda's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Macheda wanted to stand there but Niska had control of the position.
Niska looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Macheda is defending well. Niska quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Macheda has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Niska celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
