The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Svenson.
Mayer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Svenson throws the kick towards the body but Mayer avoids it.
Svenson throws a body shot but no joy.
Svenson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mayer scores with a shot to the body.
Svenson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Svenson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Mayer has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A right-left combo lands from Svenson.

It looks like Ethan Mayer has been cut.
Svenson misses with a double jab.
Svenson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Mayer scores with a nice head shot.

Svenson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Mayer counters with a crisp right hand that drops Svenson! Mayer lets Svenson back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

It looks like Joachin Svenson has been cut.

Mayer takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Svenson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mayer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Svenson is breathing heavily.
Mayer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Svenson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Svenson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Nice body punch from Mayer.
Svenson drops his hands momentarily and Mayer needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Svenson just on the top of the head. Svenson drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Svenson - he's done!
