The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Tormenta shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Silva Jr manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Silva Jr (0) vs (2) Tormenta
Tormenta stands and throws Silva Jr's legs to the side, diving into side control. Score +3 for passing guard: Silva Jr (0) vs (5) Tormenta
Tormenta goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Silva Jr has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Tormenta but great work by Silva Jr. Score +4 for clean sweep to past guard: Silva Jr (4) vs (5) Tormenta

Silva Jr's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Tormenta is holding on here and Silva Jr must be using up a lot of energy. Tormenta has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Silva Jr gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
