Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Carlotos Spiteri (ranked 23167 p4p, 23490 weight class) and Edouard Ngirente (ranked 711 p4p, 693 weight class). Spiteri comes into the arena with Day to day basis blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Edouard Ngirente enters the ring!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carlotos Spiteri!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Edouard Ngirente!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ngirente misses with a right hand
and Spiteri counters with a left to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Ngirente.
Spiteri moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Spiteri throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ngirente throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Spiteri staying out of range there.
Ngirente rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Spiteri to counter with a crisp jab.
Ngirente stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Spiteri.
Spiteri connects with a body shot.
Ngirente will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Spiteri thinks about countering with a body kick.
Ngirente tries a head kick but it misses.
Spiteri blocks a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ngirente rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ngirente takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Edouard Ngirente has been cut.
Spiteri bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Spiteri swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Ngirente swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Spiteri jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Spiteri takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Ngirente misses with a left hand
and Spiteri counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ngirente misses with a right hand
letting Spiteri counter with a right hand.
Ngirente connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Spiteri throws a series of punches but Ngirente avoids them all with ease.
Ngirente misses with a straight left.
Spiteri misses with a body shot.
Ngirente misses with a hook
and Spiteri counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Spiteri lands a nice shot to the body.
Spiteri misses with an uppercut. Ngirente saw that one coming.
Ngirente throws a head kick that misses.
Spiteri half committed to a counter leg kick.
Nice cross by Spiteri.
An inside leg kick from Ngirente misses.
Ngirente throws an off balance right hand
and Spiteri counters with a straight right hand.
Ngirente is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Spiteri gets a clinch.
Ngirente is still on wobbly legs! Can Spiteri finish him?
A short right hand to the side of the head by Spiteri.
Spiteri is working Ngirente over against the ropes.
Ngirente looks winded!
Spiteri lands with a right to the head.
Spiteri breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Ngirente with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Ngirente looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Ngirente get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? No, he's flopped back to the mat - he's out - this one is all over!
