Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Doug Bell (ranked 2079 p4p, 3663 weight class) and Jon Erikson (ranked 20 p4p, 35 weight class). Erikson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Gåte - Statt Opp. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jon Erikson enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 28 - 20 - 0, fighting out of New York, Doug Bell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 22 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jon Erikson! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good shot there by Erikson. Bell looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Bell throws a nice looking combination but Erikson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bell takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Doug Bell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Erikson connects with a nice looking jab.
Erikson lands a nice looking body kick. Erikson lands a right hook to the body.
We've been informed that Erikson has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Bell is breathing heavily. Erikson cracks Bell with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Erikson lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bell takes a step back to recover. Erikson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bell circles away quickly and effectively. Erikson is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Erikson drives through and clinches with Bell against the ropes.
Erikson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Erikson misses with a body punch.
Bell working hard to break the clinch. Bell takes a knee to the side of the body. A right hook to the body lands for Erikson.
Erikson connects with a nasty looking knee right to Bell's face.
Erikson lands with a short head shot on the inside. Still in the clinch, Erikson scores with a nice short uppercut. Erikson landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Erikson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bells head. Erikson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Bell backwards.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Erikson pushes Bell back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Nice body punch from Erikson - that landed with a thud.
Erikson misses with a body punch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Erikson. Erikson unloads a knee to the mid-section. Bell lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Erikson scores with a shot to the side of Bell's head.
Erikson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bell moves forwards but Erikson connects with a nice, crisp jab. Bell walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Bell is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Jon Erikson! Jon Erikson seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
