The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Erikson.
Bell looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bell throws a nice looking combination but Erikson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bell takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Doug Bell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Erikson connects with a nice looking jab.
Erikson lands a nice looking body kick.
Erikson lands a right hook to the body.
We've been informed that Erikson has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Bell is breathing heavily.
Erikson cracks Bell with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Erikson lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bell takes a step back to recover.
Erikson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bell circles away quickly and effectively.
Erikson is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Erikson drives through and clinches with Bell against the ropes.
Erikson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

A nice right hand lands inside from Erikson.
Erikson unloads a knee to the mid-section. Bell lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Erikson scores with a shot to the side of Bell's head.

Erikson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bell moves forwards but Erikson connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Bell walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Bell is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
