The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poutine has managed to clinch.
Poutine looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Poutine trying to control the position but instead, Gibber has worked for underhooks and has pushed Poutine into the cage.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Gibber as Poutine tries to tie him up.
Poutine is trying to maintain a safe position but Gibber gets an underhook and turns Poutine into the cage.
Poutine seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Gibber is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.
Gibber gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gibber sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Poutine's guard.
Gibber wants to pass to mount but Poutine is defending the position.
Gibber lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Gibber frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
